Our practice is a proud supporter of our community’s youth programs. In addition to backing local sports teams throughout the year, Smile with Style Orthodontics supports the annual “Jog for Jefferson” fundraiser. Proceeds of the “Jog” are used by the Gahanna-Jefferson Parent Teacher’s Organization (PTO) to assist in developing programming, materials, and special purchases throughout the school year. Donations have been used to sponsor field trips, purchase playground equipment, update technology such as classroom iPads, leadership initiatives for our students, and much more.

Getting Started
Patients should continue to see their general dentist every six months for a thorough exam and cleaning. Before each orthodontic appointment, patients are encouraged to brush their teeth. Toothbrushes and toothpaste are provided in the office if needed. Before braces can be placed, patients must have a dental exam and have any necessary fillings completed.
Convenient Appointments
We understand your time is valuable, so we offer flexible scheduling to fit your busy lifestyle. Our staff makes every effort to accommodate each patient’s schedule, and we ask for a 24-hour cancellation notice to ensure schedule efficiency.
Orthodontic Treatment Time
Orthodontic treatment is a journey that may last 18 to 30 months, depending on your individual treatment goals. We typically schedule appointments 4 to 12 weeks apart. To potentially finish your orthodontic treatment early, it is essential for you to keep your scheduled appointments, maintain proper oral hygiene, and take proper care of your braces.
Communication
Written correspondence is given to our patients during most appointments. If a parent is not present during an appointment, the child is given these documents. Ensure your child shares these documents with you and review all pertinent information.
